This acquisition brings to our organization a broad offering of planar magnetic products. Planar magnetic products are low profile, highly efficient transformers with minimal electromagnetic interference that are used for very demanding power supply applications in the aerospace, medical, defense, communications, industrial and automotive industries.
Our collaboration enhances our organization’s capabilities and engineering resources to design unique and custom planar magnetic configurations. The assimilation of PQC parts, designs, and engineering improve our capabilities as a leader in providing magnetics solutions. Further synergy and capabilities are also achieved with Standex Electronics ITAR, ISO9000, TS16949, and AS9100 certifications and qualifications.
The planar magnetic products that we acquired complement the broad range of electro-mechanical engineered solutions that are currently offered by Standex Electronics. We look forward to working with the customers of PQC and also offering these products to the customers of Standex Electronics.
The combination of the innovative PQC products, existing planar products, and the global manufacturing and sales footprint improves our capacity and capabilities for existing Standex Electronics and PQC customers. We are also pleased to announce that Planar Quality Corporation team will continue providing planar magnetic design services to Standex Electronics to support customers. This builds upon the solid product engineering foundation both companies have established.
